Authenticity Architecture

Authenticity Architecture

What exactly is Authenticity Architecture? A name I made up to describe what I do.

What do I do? I help you reconstruct your true self— your authenticity.

What is authenticity? Being the YOU were were born to be. Living the life that is true to you. Speaking from your heart. Thriving—bold and free.

What is Architecture? The art or practice of designing and constructing buildings.

Authenticity Architecture helps you design and reconstruct a life made by hand. I combine many different modalities into your unique individualized healing relationship. Some psychotherapy, some coaching, some art, some music, some dance, maybe a mandala or a dream or two. It’s up to you.

Together we will design — A LIFE MADE FROM HEART.

Redesigning your true self starts with showing up fully in the planning and building stages. The choices you make each day about who you should be, and what you should do form the foundation of your emotional house. You spend your life building from there.

One day something happens, and you look around and know– it’s time for a re-do!

That’s when you come to see me. We’ll take a look at the house you are emotionally living in, and discover the changes you want to make. We’ll look at the existing structure for leaks and damage. Mostly we look at what no longer serves you. Don’t be scared. It’s okay to look at the difficult stuff. Don’t worry. You can take all the time you need to find out what it is that’s keeping you from what your heart desires. And you’ll learn to love those parts too! How can you know what you want, if you don’t know what you don’t want? Let that sink in!

Then the best and most fun part is choosing what you truly do want to live your best life. What colors do you cherish? What smells remind you of happy memories? What sounds sooth your ears? What foods satisfy your delights? Who’s hand is it you want to hold?

These and other questions give us glimpses into the light that is always inside of you. Your imperfections, sorrows and struggles are simply the cracks that let the light in.

Are you ready to start to reconstruct your life?

As soon as you schedule your first session on-line or in the office, we’ll begin creating a blueprint for your new life. We will have plenty of time in our on-going sessions to ask your big life questions. Who am I? What do I want my life to be? What is my true calling?

We might not ever be able to answer these big ticket items, but the journey to the center of yourself certainly begins with the questions. “Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.” Rainer Marie Rilke

In addition to weekly sessions, I also offer two and a half, or four day weekend individual intensives. And I occasionally offer group retreats……did I mention mothers and daughters in Southern France??? That’s gonna be really cool!! Discounts for signing up early. Limited space available.

Authenticity Intensive Retreats will help you identify core shame beliefs; create a roadmap for authentic living; participate in creative arts and movement experiences individually designed for you; practice mindfulness techniques; explore your dreams if you like that sort of thing; and take away tools and ideas after the retreat to continue your journey.

The four day intensive includes all of the above, plus a mandala assessment; the creation of your personal healing mandala (no artistic ability necessary–in other words—no sweat!); additional individual activities designed specifically for you to unfold your myth and live your best life.

Here’s a tune by singer, songwriter, & awesome woman Rebecca Folsom to help you get ready be your best self.

“It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do.” Marrianne Williamson
